MIIT: Accelerate Planning for Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicles in the 15th Five-Year Plan
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's spokesperson and director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, Tao Qing, stated at the State Council Information Office press conference that the next step will be to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, with a focus on carrying out 3 key tasks:
First, strengthen top-level design. Accelerate the development of the 15th Five-Year Plan for intelligent connected new energy vehicles and issue guidance on accelerating innovation in intelligent equipment.
Second, ensure stable operations. Implement the new round of work plans for stabilizing growth in industries such as machinery, automobiles, and power equipment; continue advancing equipment upgrades and vehicle trade-in programs; and standardize industrial competition with a determined, nail-driving spirit.
Third, focus on tackling key challenges. Continue implementing initiatives to promote high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry's core value chains, with an emphasis on breakthroughs in flagship products and their widespread adoption.
