Academician Chen Qingquan is the Founding and Rotating President of the World Electric Vehicle Association. He has long dedicated himself to research and innovation in electric vehicles, electric drive systems, and smart energy. He proposed the core principles and overarching guidance for EV research, integrating automotive engineering, motor technology, electric drive systems, power electronics, and modern control theory into a cohesive framework. This approach established a complete theoretical and practical system for the emerging interdisciplinary field of modern electric vehicle science.

As Chairman of the International Academy of Science and Technology Innovation Center, Academician Chen Qingquan is dedicated to integrating global high-tech resources and driving deep integration between technological innovation and industrial development. Under his leadership, the Center has established close partnerships with leading international research institutions such as Germany's Max Planck Society and Fraunhofer Society, building a robust global scientific collaboration network.
